Building Leadership Skills in a Large Online Class

Continuing the Conversation with Nancy Evans

For our last webinar this semester through the IU Online Continuing the Conversation series, we will to talk with Nancy Evans about teaching online with a large (over 300) class size. Nancy will share her cascading technique used to build leadership skills, a student learning outcome, in her business course. This technique uses Zoom and helps students learn how to best use virtual conferencing to engage with each other in a large online setting. Not only for soft skills, this engagement method can be used in other subject areas to encourage students to work together in a virtual environment. Nancy will also share how she used Canvas Studio to design her online course for easier navigation for her students.
