Leveraging Common Tools in Online Courses

Continuing the Conversation with Jennifer Deranek

The second webinar in the IU Online Continuing the Conversation series is with Jennifer Deranek from IU South Bend. Jenny will be sharing her service learning online course and how she has incorporated common tools into the course. Jenny uses Google Docs to capture student reflections throughout their service learning experience. This allows students to build on their involvement in the project during the semester. Jenny also integrates Zoom as a platform to meet with students as need during the semester and also a way to perform mock interviews, a requirement for her course.
