Indiana University (IU) has once again earned top rankings in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Program rankings. Key 2025 highlights include:
Kelley School of Business
The online MBA from Kelley Direct ranked No. 1 for the fourth consecutive year. Kelley Direct also ranked No. 1 in four specialty categories: general management, business and analytics, marketing, and finance. This is the sixth year these specialties have ranked in the top five.
IU School of Education
Online master’s degrees from the IU Bloomington School of Education climbed to 20th place nationally. Four specialty areas received top 10 rankings: curriculum and instruction (No. 2), educational/instructional media design (No. 3), educational administration and supervision (No. 5), and special education (No. 7).
Online bachelor's degrees
IU's online bachelor’s degrees ranked 19th nationally and first in Indiana. The online bachelor’s in psychology (offered through IU East) ranked No. 6, and the online bachelor’s in business administration (offered through IU East, IU Kokomo, IU Northwest, IU South Bend, and IU Southeast) ranked No. 8.
Veterans programs
The online MBA from Kelley Direct was named the No. 1 online MBA program serving veterans, while IU's online bachelor’s programs were ranked No. 29 for serving veterans.
U.S. News & World Report rankings are based on a comprehensive evaluation of more than 1,600 online degree programs from regionally accredited institutions.
