IU Online has a new face on the web. A recently launched website presents IU Online in context—as an extension of Indiana University and as a game changer in higher education at large. Tailored for external audiences like potential partners, institutional peers, or policy makers, the site presents some of the key talking points that make IU Online unique. It highlights IU Online as an organic extension of the academic excellence IU has built over the past 200 years and as an entity that is changing the shape of higher education.
The new site includes quotes from faculty and students with links to their interviews, statistical highlights, U.S. News & World Report badges, and comments from IU President Michael McRobbie that convey support for IU Online from the university's highest level: "Through IU Online the university has firmly cemented itself as the state's online education powerhouse for four-year and graduate online education."
The new site also includes links to IU Online's audience-specific sites, including the student-centered IU Online site and the faculty-centered Teaching Online at IU site.
